Fifth Meeting Of The Standand International Firms Of the Commercial Courts (In Doha)

A great testament to the ongoing efforts of the Pakistan “Dynamic Duo” – Mr. Justice Mansoor Ali Shah (Senior Puisne Judge of the Supreme Court) and Mr. Justice Jawad Hassan (Lahore High Court).

Their active participation in the Fifth Full Meeting of the Standing International Forum of Commercial Courts (SIFoCC) in Doha, Qatar yesterday (20 April 2024) is a continuation of their reform initiatives and efforts to upgrade the legal landscape of Pakistan.

Authors of seminal judgments on international arbitration and commercial disputes have also led the way in establishing ADR centers and commercial courts in the country.

Mr. Justice Shah presented on Climate Change and Commercial Courts in the context of corporate activity and the rule of law and Mr. Justice Hassan presented the SIFoCC committee’s critical work in International Best Practices in Case Management.
